As a teacher, my greatest goal is to instill a love for learning in each of my students. |

Starting The Year With A BANG! |
I like to start each year by writing a letter to my students and posting it just above the pencil sharpener in my classroom. I read the letter to the students on the first day and remind them of it throughout the school year. |
Dear Students, I'm writing you this letter to let you know that I am here for you. I will try to make this school year the best one you've ever had. When you have questions and problems, please come to me. I promise to listen patiently and seriously consider what you say. I promise to respect your thoughts, your words, and your opinions. In return, I ask that you respect mine. As we work together, let's do our best to help each other in every way possible. |
Teachers SO appreciate parents who take the time to attend Open House. |
But teachers are often incredibly overwhelmed with parents who try to monopolize the visit sharing their child's history and special needs. |
Start the year right! Remind your kids that |
Teachers don't GIVE grades . . . students EARN them. |
Cooperate with one another . . . Compete only with yourself! |
