"May the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal
encouragment and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."
2 Thessalonians 2 16-17
Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel
and Jeshua son of Jozadak set to
work to rebuild the
house of God
in Jerusalem. And the prophets of
God were with them, helping them.

MOUTHS OF
BABES . . .
Whether spreading peanut butter on bread for the
kids,
cleaning restrooms for a booming corporation,
or
speaking at an international religious conference,
we are serving Jesus. So roll up your sleeves and
work with all your heart. And one day you, too, will
hear those precious words, "Well done, thou good
and faithful servant."
After explaining the
meaning of humility to
my fourth grade class, I
asked if the students
knew anyone who was
humble.
One one child
said, "I know my pastor
is humble because I
really like him.
As soon
as the words were out of
her mouth, another
student blurted out, "Not
my pastor. He humiliates
himself every Sunday!"
Ezra 5:2
God had spoken to the Jewish people, instructing them
to rebuild the temple. The people immediately went to
work-including the prophets of God. What a great
example of humility.
Dear Father, Once again, I surrender my life to You.
Take my hands, my mouth, and my feet. Use my life
to accomplish Your purpose. Help me remember
that all I do is for You. In Jesus' name, amen.
Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a
harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9
